Quest Events
The Big Flop: (5 Participants) A combination of scoutcraft skills. Team will be given a # 10 can, tin snips, a piece of tin, and dry pancake mix. Team will be required to build a fire beneath the can; make a spatula from the piece of tin; make pancake batter; cook a pancake on both sides; flip pancake into a plate; eat pancake. First to complete tasks wins.
Flag Pole: (5 Participants) A combination of lashing skills. Team is given four poles and pieces of rope. Participants will construct a flag pole with the provided items, and to raise their Lodge flag. First to complete tasks wins.
Pony Express: (6 Participants) A combination of numerous scout skills. Relay race: Sack race for first leg; First Aid Skill – second leg; Scout Law knowledge – third leg; 3-legged race – fourth leg; Coke chugging – fifth leg. First to complete wins.
Water Balloon Toss: (3 Participants) Each team given two (2) filled water balloons and a sling shot. Each team gets two throws of the water balloons. Team with farthest distance toss wins.
Egg Toss on Stump: Lodge Chief & Adviser will toss an egg to each other while standing on a log stump. Distance between Lodge Chief and Adviser increases until one party cannot catch the egg, or he steps off the log stump to catch the egg. Competition continues until one party remains.
